Develop a Best Practice Guide!
Improving the Accessibility of Digital Money
Develop innovative and effective best practices for improving the accessibility of Central Bank Digital Currency for all users, particularly for people with different types of disabilities, taking into account the specific needs and preferences of the target audience (HAN HBO students studying ICT & Media Design, as well as NGI projects).
The solution must take into account the following challenges and requirements:
Visual impairments: People with visual impairments may have difficulty reading the information on the screen. The solution must consider accessible color contrasts, enlargement options, and clear and legible fonts.
Auditory impairments: People with auditory impairments may have difficulty hearing auditory signals such as warnings and notifications. The solution must provide alternative ways to convey information, such as visual warnings or vibration signals.
Motor impairments: People with motor impairments may have difficulty using mobile devices or mice to perform digital money transactions. The solution must provide alternative ways to perform transactions, such as voice-activated payments or alternative input methods.
Cognitive impairments: People with cognitive impairments may have difficulty understanding complex financial terms or steps in the payment process. The solution must be simple and clear in the presentation of information and the steps in the payment process.
Security: The solution must also take into account security aspects of digital money transactions, such as protecting personal data and preventing fraudulent activities.
The best solution will be user-friendly, accessible, and secure for all users, including people with disabilities. The solution may consist of a mobile application, a web application, or a specific device for digital payments.
Good luck with the challenge!
